Norman Michael Crews

CREWS, Norman Michael – 90, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia passed away on July 29, 2012 at Colchester Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born on October 13, 1921 to the late Lewis and Mary (Walsh) Crews Point Au Gaul, Newfoundland. Norman served overseas in World War II as a member of the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit. He was a member of the Truro Horsemans’ Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 104, Debert, NS. He is survived by daughter, Christine (Doug) Hawkins Meaghers Grant, NS, son Clyde (Glenda) Meaghers Grant, NS, son George (Marie) Mount Pearl, NL, daughter Pat Tuff Murray Siding, NS, sister Gladys Wamback Timberlea, NS, brother Max Mount Pearl, NL, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Norman is also survived by an extended family in Scotland, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife Christina, brother Clyde and sister-in- law Edith. No visitation or services by Norman’s request. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A special thanks to the staff at Colchester Regional Hospital for their help at this most difficult time.
