KYLE, LEWIS RUTHERFORD "LEW" - The death of Lew Kyle of Geary occurred on July 30th, 2012 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born November 14th, 1925 in Penobsquis, NB, Lew was the son of the late LeRoy and Mary (Burns) Kyle. In 1989 Lew had retired from CFB Gagetown. He loved to fish and hunt and had been a member of the Lincoln LOL #35 for many years. He was a loving husband and father to Gladys (Stackhouse) Kyle and his daughter, Angie of Geary, NB. He is also survived by his siblings, Eve Carter of Riverview, NB, Ethel Jeffrey, Pauline Bourque (Donnie), Shirley Pollock (Ernest) all of Sussex, NB and Angus Kyle (Reta) of Cedar Camp, NB. Lewis was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Marion and one brother, James.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 1st from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday, August 2nd, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Geary Baptist Church on Friday, August 3rd, at 2 pm with Rev. Greg Sparkes officiating. Interment will be in the Geary, French Lake, Waterville Memorial Cemetery.
