It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Clifford Joseph Arsenault on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in East Margaree, Clifford was the son of the late Alex and Helen (LeBlanc) Arsenault.
Clifford retired 19 years ago from the construction industry, Local 1115. He was a life member of the Mira Road Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, June (Hardy); son, Glenn (Nancy); the pride and joy of his life, his grandson, Dillon; granddaughter, Chantal Leblanc; great-granddaughter, Carley LeBlanc; sister, Isabel Tell; brothers, Raymond and Robert; numerous nieces and nephews.
Clifford was predeceased by his son, Keith, sisters, Julia and Mary Jane and brothers, Linus, Emile and Joseph.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Friday 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Conrad Edwards officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
