Donald David Pond
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother; Donald David Pond age 65 years of Badger’s Quay passed peacefully away on July 31, 2012 at Brookfield Hospital, Brookfield after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents George and Annie Pond. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Genny, son; David (Tracey) of Conception Bay South, daughters; Susan (Matt McKenna) of Clarenville, April (Neville Ashleigh) of Halifax, NS, brothers; Colin (Irene) of Badger’s Quay, Sandy Campbell (Sophie) of Inverness, Scotland, sister; Diana (Frank Hounsell) of Mount Pearl, 9 grandchildren; Anissa, Victoria, Olivia, Abigail, Jacob, Keaira, Alvia, Ethan, Wyatt and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held on August 2, 2012 at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Badger’s Quay with Rev. John Nicolle officiating. Internment followed at St. Alban’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Badger’s Quay. Donations in his memory may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society Of Canada.
