We the family of the late Mary Burke would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the expressions of love, kindness and support shown during this time of loss. The food, cards, charitable donations, phone calls, visits, hugs and kind words we received were a fitting tribute to Mom’s generous spirit. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team, the V.O.N, Barry’s care workers (esp Janet MacKinnon) who included Mom in their care, pharmacist Janet Boyce, Janice Barrett for the special Wednesdays, and the wonderful neighbours/friends who constantly dropped in to see what she needed. You made her life better. Thanks also to Fr. Norman for a beautiful service and to Kirk at Curry’s Funeral Home for his professionalism. To the many people who prayed for us and fed us physically, spiritually and emotionally: we never wondered where God was in our suffering, as we saw and felt His presence through you. We pray that your lives will be filled with graces and blessings.
