It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear son, father, brother & uncle, Allan Michael Roland on August 2, 2012.
Born in Ontario, he was the son of Earl Roland (Ann), Alder Point and the late Audrey Roland.
Besides his father, he is survived by his girl friend Nancy Manship; his daughter Melissa; his sister Brenda, Ontario; his brothers Vic (Debbie), Ontario, Dennis (Laurie), Ontario, Nicky (Nancy), Alder Point; many nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles in Ontario & Cape Breton.
There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Alder Point with Father Peter McLeod officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bras d'Or.
Arrangements are under the care & direction of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines.
