Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s on August 5, 2012, Robert Senior, age 79. Predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years Neala Evelyn Brake Senior, son-in-law Raymond Gamble, brother Jack Senior, parents Hannah and George Senior, parents-in-law James and Minetta Brake, brother-in-law Gerald Brake and his wife Eileen. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his loving children: Holly Reeves (Ivan Langdon), Shelley Senior, Kathy Moore (Patrick Moore), Natalie Dutchak (Kevin Dutchak), Melanie Gamble (Paul Rideout), ten grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; sisters-in-law Cora Senior, Olive Beatie (Doug Beatie); brothers-in-law: Alva Brake (Edna Brake), John Brake (Thelma Brake). Robert was a very loving papa and a favorite uncle to his many nieces and nephews. His family was his life, and he loved nothing better than to get together to break bread and make music with his devoted family. Robert was also a well respected businessman in Port Aux Basques where he operated Bob’s Chicken Coop for 40 plus years. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 10 a.m.-12 noon, 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, August 8 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Memorial Service will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road, St. John’s.
