It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Ulrich, 89, of Seaview Manor and formerly of James Street, Scotchtown, on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at the manor.
Born in Gardiner Mines, N.S., she was a member of the former St. Michael Parish, currently the Parish Church of St. Leonard. Patricia enjoyed bowling, darts, bingo, trout fishing and hunting. She also loved her back yard garden and prepared many meals using her home grown vegetables.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews from both the Ulrich and Gallant sides of the family.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Stephen and one brother, James G. Gallant.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 10 at 3 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith St., New Waterford, with Deacon Leo Penny officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, River Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
