Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012 after a four year battle with cancer, in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husband John (1998). Survived by her son Paul Ryan of St. Catharines; sister of Neil MacLellan and his wife Helen of Mississauga; sister-in-law of Marie Ryan of Ottawa, Wallace Ryan and his wife Margaret and Aidan Ryan and his wife Vera, all of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Robert (Clementine) MacLellan, and brother-in-law Ronald Ryan. In her younger days Margaret was an avid golfer and she enjoyed curling, more recently she enjoyed to watch those sports on television.
