The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2012, with her family by her side, of Corinne Mary Gallant at the age of 59 years, wife of Norman Gallant from Cape Egmont. Daughter of Clair and the late Aline Gallant. She was born on Jan. 15, 1953, in Summerside. Corinne is survived by two daughters Colleen (Gilles) Richard and grandchildren Danika and Alexa and by Kim (Scott) Ellands and grandchildren Brittany and Chelsea. She is also survived by sisters and brothers Melva, Raymond (Simonne), Yvon (Juliette), Hermine (Eric) Barlow, Edna (Camille) Richard, Paul (Janice), Simon, Léonce (Suzanne) and Michel (George). Survived by sister-in-law Zelma (Gérard), Aline (Ronald), Louise (Karl) and brother in-law Alfred (Théresa). Also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by mother Aline and a grandson Brandon also by in-laws Alyre and Marie Gallant. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Saturday, Aug. 11, then to Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours Friday, Aug. 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
