George Louis Murphy
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, August 10, 2012 of Mr. George Murphy of Charlottetown, age 81 years.
Beloved husband of Martina (nee LeClair) and dear father of Arlene (Wayne) Peterson, Ronnie (Judy) Murphy, Geraldine Costello, Kenny Murphy, Paula Murphy and Gerard Murphy (Nancy Cameron). Loving Poppie of Kevin Peterson, Scott Peterson (Andrea), Mark (Jennifer) Peterson, Jessica Murphy, Kallie Murphy, Tracy (Kevin) Gallant, Derrick Costello, Krystal Costello, Matthew Murphy and Meghan Murphy. Great-grandfather of Julia, Jackson and Brycen. He is also survived by his brother Joe (Gladys) Murphy. George was predeceased by his parents John and Etta (Cheverie) Murphy; his brothers Jack, Bill, Earl; and his daughter-in-law Lori Murphy.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Tuesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday 5 to 9 p.m.
