Angela McCullough, our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on August 11, 2012 at the age of 86. Mom was born in Milestone, Saskatchewan, second youngest of 14 children, she attended school in Milestone and later at Notre Dame in Wilcox where she met Charles (Chuck) McCullough. They were married by Father “Pere” Athol Murray in 1946. Chuck predeceased her in July, 1987. and since that time, Mom showed great ingenuity in living independently and maintaining her home up until May of this year when she moved into a care facility. She has lived in Moose Jaw for the past 39 years, working for a time at the Land Titles Office. Mom spent her leisure time enjoying golfing, playing bridge and tending to her beautiful garden and flowers and enjoying visits from her family. Angela was a loving mother to her family including 6 children, and known as “Grandma Moose Jaw”, to 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Her family includes: Son, Jack (Shirley) of Calgary - Timothy (Leanne / Madison, Cayden, Brianna) of Okotoks, Tyson (Jessica / Lorelei, Archer) of Calgary, Patricia (Deron Deneau) of Calgary; Son, Bill (Louise) of Carlyle - Cameron (Dawn / Noah, Spencer) of Regina, Anne-Marie (Kier Istace / Zoe, Cade) of Pilot Butte. Son, Rick (Wendy) of Regina - Kimberley (Trevor Nicol / Caelen, Delaney) of Calgary, Kelley (Jason Rumpel / Marley, Katey) of Emerald Park, Dustin of Regina. Daughter, Jo-Anne MacLennan / Ashley of Winnipeg. Daughter, Shirley (Mark Friel) of Regina - Christy Friel (Mckenna), Kwartei Glover-Quartey of Regina, Jana of Regina, and Chad of Lake Louise. Son Robert (Mariia) - Adriana, Kristian, and Natalia of Regina. Angela is also survived by an older sister Rolanda O’Byrne (nee Desnoyers) of Regina, and a younger brother Wilfred (Jeanne) Desnoyers of Regina and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel, Moose Jaw on Thursday, August 16 at 10:30 am. Father Rick Krofchek will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice. In living memory of Angela, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
