(formerly Sister M. Joachim) – Passed peacefully away at Presentation Motherhouse on Sunday, August 12, 2012, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her parents Susan (White) and John Kennedy; sisters: Molly (Karl Vaughan), Nora (Leslie Lumber), Ita (Wilson Ryan), and Carmel (Tom Doran) and brothers: Leo, Russell, George, and Vincent. Left to mourn and to celebrate her life are the Presentation Sisters; sister-in-law Leona (Vincent) Kennedy and many devoted nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and their families, other relatives and friends. Resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John's. Visiting hours on Monday, August 13 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 14 from 10:00 - 12:00; 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.; and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Wednesday, August 15th at 9:30 a.m. and interment will be at Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
