CARD OF THANKS
Neil “Deets” Kennedy
The family of the late Neil “Deets” Kennedy wish to express our gratitude to everyone who gave us support during our recent loss. To those who phoned, sent food, visited us, sent cards, e-mails, in memoriams, charitable donations and flowers, we thank you. Our appreciation goes to Dr. S. Farrell for his attention to Deets over the years, also to the various Emergency Departments, especially the staff of the NewWaterford Hospital who cared for Deets. Our thanks go to Father Victor Ozoufuanya for his attention to Deets, to the family and for celebrating his Mass. Also thanks to Father Tom Lathigee and Father Bill Stephenson for con-celebrating his Mass. We also appreciate Deacon Leo Penny for his inspirational homily. To the pallbearers, brothers John, Alex, Paul, Steve, Archie and brother-in-law Charlie Conway, to the readers Marie Conway, Sr. Dolores Kennedy and Dolores Kennedy, the gift bearers Carol Rizzetto and Dylan Kennedy, the altar servers and the Eucharistic ministers, we thank you. A special mention goes to Brine, Patsy and the choir for their moving music. The presence of the KOC and the local members of the teachers union as guard of honor were very supportive. Many people were involved in caring for Deets over the past years, the Palliative Care staff, the V.O.N. and especially the staff of Medigas Oxygen Co. Their attention to Deets gave him great comfort and we thank them. Finally, we wish to thank the ladies of St. Leonard C.W.L. for their lovely lunch and to the respectful staff of V.J. MacGillivray Funeral Home.
