The death occurred at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, of Jean Small of Charlottetown and formerly of Summerside, aged 83 years. Born in Port Hill, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Gladys (Bryant) Yeo. Survived by her children Dale (Wilma) Small, Rice Point; Wayne Small (Joyce), Toronto, Ont.; John Small, Ottawa, Ont.; Gina (Kelly) Freitag, Belleville, Ont.; grandchildren Michael (Laura) Small, Toronto, Ont.; Mary Ann Small, Edmonton, Alta.; Jordan, Alex and Blake Freitag, Belleville, Ont.; great-grandchildren Willa and Perin Small; brothers and sisters Phyllis Boyer; Roger (Daphne) Yeo; Reenie Parker; Edith (Carl) Baker; Stanley (Sharon) Yeo; Dianne Ellis; Eileen (Blair) Colwill; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Alfred Small, and by her brother Thane Yeo. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Visiting hours Friday from 6-8 p.m. for family and friends. A private graveside service will be held. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
