At the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge the death of Margie Horton, formerly of Murray Harbour, wife of the late Edison Horton, occurred on Thursday, August 16, 2012.
Born in Murray Harbour February 15, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Louise (Herring) Cohoon. Margie is survived by her loving daughter, Jill (Gary) MacKay of Espanola, ON. Grammie to Carla MacKay of North Bay, ON, and Darcy MacKay of Scarbourgh, ON. Also survived by a sister Avis of Charlottetown, P.E.I.
No visiting hours by family request. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 20, from the Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Margie's name to the Kings County Memorial Hospital or the Dr. John M. Memorial Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
