(June 5, 1942-August 17, 2012) — Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on August 17, 2012 after a short illness George Francis Kent. Predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth Dwyer, brother Nish, sisters Mary and Evelyn. Leaving to mourn his wife Linda, sons Paul (Jenny), Georgie (Lisa), his precious grandchildren Katelynn, Georgie and Sarah. One sister Ita (Albert Dober) and twin brother Tom (Mary) and families. Also many nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home Bell Island on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Bell Island, on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery Lance Cove Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in George’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
