HAINES, RANSFORD LAWRENCE - The death of Ransford Haines occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 19, 2012. He was born on August 4, 1932 in Queens County to the late Edward and Olive (Eatmon) Haines. Ransford worked in shipping and receiving for McAvitys and then for Crane Canada Ltd. until his retirement. Ransford is survived by his sisters, Alice Seale and Rose Haines both of Saint John; daughter, Wendy and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row Saint John (634-7424). At Ransford’s request a private family graveside service will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
