Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 in the presence of his family. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Bridget Daly of Riverhead, and siblings Cyril, Alfred, Leonard, Catherine, Evelyn and Mary. Leaving to mourn with fond memories wife Gertrude; children: Paddy (Line), Andrea, Jennifer (Nick Collingwood), Michael and Lisa; sisters-in-law: Audrey Diggs (Joseph) of Southern Pines, NC and Rose Marie Daley of St. John’s; as well as six very special grandsons: Nicholas and Jack Daly, Joshua and Zachary Karam, and Benjamin and Henry Collingwood. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kirit Patel for his compassionate care throughout. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, August 25th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Parish, Torbay Road. Private inurnment to follow.
