WHALEN, Albert Jr.– Dec. 9, 1948. Passed away suddenly at his residence on Bell Island, on August 22, 2012. Predeceased by his loving wife Gladys, parents Albert and Mary Whalen, in-laws Albert and Blanche Peddle and brother-in-law Dave Gosine. Leaving to mourn two sons: Joe (Hazel) and John (Laurie); four granddaughters: Natasha, Nicole, Chantelle and Autumn; three grandsons: Jonathan, Brandon and Brady; brothers: Jack (Sarah), Walt (Linda), Charl (Ann), Frank (Rhonda), Les (Anna); sisters: Mary Curnew (Walt), Frances Gosine (Dave), Rose Whalen (Craig), Tina Thorne (Craig), also a large circle of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and a special thank you to one of the best caregivers Lillian Mitchell, an angel in disguise. For the last 20 years since his accident he has endured constant unbearable pain, now he is with his beloved wife Gladys and hopefully he is at peace. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Bell Island, on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery Bell Island.
