BISHOP, VIOLET - The death of Violet Sylvia Bishop of Minto, NB occurred Tuesday, August 28th, 2012 in Minto, NB. Born in Rothwell, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eleanor (West) Dykeman. Violet is survived by a brother Thomas Dykeman (Linda) of Chipman; sisters Evelyn Smith of Minto, Carmel Anderson (Ron Duplisea) of Kingston Peninsula, Laura Quinn of Saint John, Pat McNamara (Joe) of The Range, Marguerite Merrithew of Red Deer and Pearl Giggey of Willow Grove: sister-in-law Juanita Dykeman of Chipman: special friends Annamae and George Jonah of Minto; 16 nephews, 20 nieces and several great nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Violet was predeceased by her husband Lee Bishop, a brother Murray Dykeman and a sister Mary Cheeseman.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services, Chipman Community Chapel (43 Main Street, Chipman, NB) with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and from where a Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM, Saturday, September 1st, 2012.
