Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Friday, August 31, 2012 of Lena M. Welsh (nee DesRoches) of Pleasant Grove and formerly of Tignish, age 89 years.
Dear mother of Tommy Gallant, Charlottetown; Mildred McInnis, Sudbury, ON; Joe Gallant (Louise), Charlottetown; Beatrice Kelly (John), Charlottetown; Clifford Gallant, Charlottetown; Betty Corrigan (Ed), Pleasant Grove; and Bobby (Roxie) Gallant, Glen Margaret, N.S. Lena will be greatly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sons, Peter and Freddy Gallant; daughter, Cathy O'Neil; and grandson, Patrick O'Neil.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
