McQUEEN, LLOYD - With sadness the family announce the passing of Lloyd James McQueen, loving husband of the late Willa McQueen, which occurred on Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1945 in Saint John he was the son of the late Edward and Marion (Livingstone) McQueen. Lloyd began his career as a young man with MRA’s as a Commercial Designer; he then went on to have a career with both Irving Oil and Fundy Energy. He enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, fishing and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his daughter Shyann (Dave Betts) McQueen of Saint John; brother Malcolm (Maybelle) McQueen of Chetticamp, NS; sister Patricia (George) Kilburn of Fredericton; sister-in-law Frances McAllister of Saint John; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
