Jean I. Doyle
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, September 3, 2012, of Mrs. Jean I. Doyle (nee MacArthur) of Charlottetown, age 80 years.
Beloved wife of the late Alan “Dick” Doyle and dear sister of Roy (Glennas) MacArthur and Doug MacArthur. She is also survived by her brother-in-law W.J.R. “Mac” Macdonald; sisters-in-law, Donna MacArthur and Marjorie O’Rourke; and numerous nieces and nephews. However, the term “Aunt” hardly seems to suffice to describe the close relationship she shared with them.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Eva (nee Taylor) MacArthur; her sister, Eileen Macdonald; brother, George MacArthur and sister-in-law, Pam MacArthur.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
