It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Freda Hargreaves, age 74, of Sackville.
Freda passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Middle Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Kaye) Hannah.
Freda was employed with the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville for over 33 years. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, reading, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Geoffrey Hargreaves, Sackville; daughters, Joann (Peter Gallant) Hargreaves, Rothesay and Cindy (Scott) McNutt, Debert, NS; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brother, Roger Hannah, Richmond, BC.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donnie; sons Michael and Danny; daughter Holly; 4 brothers and a sister.
Cremation has taken place under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at 11 a.m., Rev. Catherine Gaw officiating.
