It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aileen Carveth on Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at the age of 98 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 16th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Adam Driscoll will officiate and a private family interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery at a later date. Aileen was born on February 19th, 1914 in Moose Jaw, SK. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Laura Vandruff; brother, Ross Vandruff; and her husband, George Carveth. Aileen is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Ryan; grandchildren: Leslie (Trent) Willfong, Michael Ryan and Nicole (Alan) Hudec; great-grandchildren: Tanner and Tory Willfong, Joshua, Adam, George and Katie Hudec; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Aileen’s name may be made to the Providence Place Healing Gardens Fund, 100 – 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8.
