James Staples, 76 native of Debert and resident of Newark Ohio died Monday September 3rd at Colchester County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Staples, Mother Dora Staples and brother Leon Staples. He was survived by two daughters, Shannon McCabe of Belmont, Victoria Doucette of Lunenburg, and one son, Shane Staples of Florida. He was also survived by an Aunt, Melba Beeswanger of Debert and two siblings, Richard Staples and Merrilee Huber of Ohio. He has 5 grandchildren. Memorial Service to be held for close friends and family at Debert Baptist Church Sunday, September 9th at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Society of Truro.
