The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, of Ann Gaudet of Summerside, aged 92 years. Born in Nail Pond, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rosalie (Arsenault) Bernard. Survived by her daughter Dianne (Chris) Fera, Sechelt, B.C.; son Pierre (Julia) Gaudet, Emyvale; son-in-law Len (Suzanne) Roche, Calgary, Alta.; grandchildren Christopher Roche; Emily Fera; Benjamin Fera; Hanna Gaudet; Zachery Gaudet; Geri-Lynn Ferguson; great-grandson Ty Ferguson; brother Gerald (Auldine) Bernard; sisters Leonie Gaudet; Amelia Knox; Velma Knox; Rose-Marie (Edward) Gaudet; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Mark Gaudet; daughter Paulette Roche; and by her brother Cyrus Bernard. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7–9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Members of St. Paul’s Catholic Women’s League will hold a prayer service at the funeral home Sunday at 3:45 p.m.
