Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, Edgar Wesley (Wes) Howell in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Mabel in 1997. Leaving to mourn with fond and cherished memories his children: Janet Hayward (Dave Jerrett), Gary (Doris) and Craig (Alice); grandchildren: Jason Hayward (Alena), Angela (Derrick Maloney), Shaun and Benjamin; great-granddaughter Haley Maloney; his sister Bertha Stevens; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mildred Howell, Alonzo and Elizabeth Cox, Eric and Jessie Cox, Gertrude and David Reese and Verna and David Orr. His faithful furry companion Taz. A number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of units 4 North and South at the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Strathie’s Funeral Home in Bonavista Friday, September 7, 2012 and Saturday, September 8, 2012. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from Memorial United Church.
