It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Patty Quinn on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at the Northside General Hospital, North Sydney, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of the late Sidney and Mary (Allen) Quinn.
Patty was a woodsman by trade, working closely with horses in the woods. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a resident at Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility until his illness.
Patty is survived by his sister, Ann Quinn, Bridgewater; brothers, Dan Quinn, Beechmount Road, Kevin (Gail) Quinn, Coxheath, Dennis Quinn, California, Timothy Quinn, North Sydney; his companion, Mary; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sheila MacDonald, brother, Michael Quinn.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral mass will take place. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Frenchvale.
