It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, Dorothy Campbell at the age of 83. Dorothy passed away Aug. 29, 2012, in Bedford, New Hampshire, with family at her bedside.
Dorothy was the daughter of the late Henry and Rachel (Beaton) Woodland. Dorothy will always be remembered as a loving, caring person, who, with her selflessness, opened her heart and home to everyone. She had a lot of spunk and humour which will be missed.
She is survived by sons, Gary and Grant, Ont., Guy in California; daughters, Gail (Jack) Costello, New Hampshire and Gloria (Darren) Peters, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Glen, John, Stephane, Matthew and Josh; brothers, Leo, Pleman and Winston; sisters, Violet, Susan and Barbara.
She was predeceased by husband, George; sons, George, Glen and Gordon, and daughter, Glenda.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service by request. A graveside service will be held in Union Grove Cemetery, Scotchtown, on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating.
Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
