Flewelling, Johanna Jane, 51, Onslow Mountain, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at home. Born in Cuckfield, England on August 18, 1961, she was a daughter of Glyn and Anne (May) Bright. She immigrated at an early age with her parents and lived in Ontario until 1992. Johanna worked for many years at the N.S.A.C. in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Hubtown Dart League and the Truro Horseman Club.
Beloved wife to Gary, and mother to Shawn (Vancouver), Travis (Edmonton) and Cheyenne (Yarmouth), Nana to Kayden; sister Amanda; brother to Ben; loved by many relatives in New Brunswick.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday and funeral service Friday Sept. 14th at 2 pm in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Rev. Brian DeLong will officiate with a celebration of Joanna’s life to follow in the Truro Horseman Club. Burial will take place at a later date in the Loyalist Cemetery, Saint John, NB. Donations in Johanna’s memory may be made to a charity of choice. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
