Ronald "Ron" William Buchanan
The death occurred at his late residence on Spring Park Road, Charlottetown, P.E.I., on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 of Ronald "Ron" William Buchanan of Charlottetown and formerly of St. Eleanors, aged 49 years.
Ron was born on May 3, 1963 in Charlottetown, P.E.I. Beloved son of the late William and Gladys Buchanan and also Sharon MacFadyen of Charlottetown. Beloved father of Draper (Carolyn) Buchanan of St. John's, Nfld., and Tiffany Buchanan (Scott Robichaud) of Moncton, N.B. Also lovingly remembered by his two grandsons, Daegan Buchanan and Brock Robichaud, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Survived by his sisters Elizabeth DesRoches (John Mugridge) and Phyllis (Brian) DesRoches all of Summerside.
Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by his nephew, Stephen O'Brien, and his grandparents, Martin and Nellie Buchanan and Leslie and Elizabeth MacMillan.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Friday, Sept. 14, then to the Church of the Nazarene, Summerside, for a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment to take place in the Mount Royal People's Cemetery. Visiting hours on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Memorial donations in Ron's memory to the Mount Royal Cemetery Fund or to the Funeral Expense Fund would be greatly appreciated.
