It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, which occurred Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at home.
Born in Castle Bay, Angus was the son of the late Daniel and Katherine (Gillis) Cameron.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice (MacAdam) along with his children, Colleen (James) Peterson, Sydney, Paula (Donnie) Stewart, Sydney, Scott (Paula), Halifax, and Danny, Sydney; one sister, Patsy Zagozan, Conneticut; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased his son, Barry, two sisters, Lucy and Florence, four brothers, Alex, Donald, Roddie and Neil.
Prior to his retirement, Angus worked as a train engineer with Devco. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Angus’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, Sydney, with Fr. James Oliver officiating.
We would like to extend a thank you to the VON nurses who cared for Angus over the years, as well as the palliative care team.
