On Sept. 13, 2012, our family lost a wonderful father, grandfather, father-in-law and uncle, Horace ‘Hob’ MacLeod of South Bar.
Born in Sydney on April 17, 1927, he was the son of the late Dan and Maude (Morrison) MacLeod.
Horace was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lily (Yates) and brothers, Art and Harold.
Loving and missing him always are his sons, Gordie (Joyce Betts) and Kenny (Dianne); daughter, Ann (Bryon Gibbons); eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church on Tuesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jackie MacDonald officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rachel Abel and emergency and palliative care staff at the CBRH for their wonderful care and compassion for dad.
