CORMIER, ANTOINE J. - 1935 - 2012 - ROGERSVILLE - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday, September 15th, 2012, at the age of 76, passed away Antoine J. Cormier, husband of Délisca Gallant. Born on September 20th, 1935 in Acadieville, he was the son of the late Joseph Cormier and of the late Marie Arseneault. As well as his spouse, he will be missed by two sons: Joe of Miramichi and Roger (Jeanne Martin) of Collette; two daughters: Gloria (Claude Babin) of St-Louis, Rita (Gary McIntyre) of Baie-Ste-Anne; four sisters: Alfreda (Late Pascal Hébert) of Cap-Lumière, Eveline (Raoul Cormier) of Shediac, Andréa (Ronald Babin) of Québec, Eva Cormier (Raymond Collette) of Dieppe; two brothers: Alexis (Robéa) Comier and Gérard (Lucie-Anne) Cormier both of Acadieville; two sisters-and-law; Marguerite (Late Lucien) of St-Charles and Ida (Late Jos) of Frederiction as well as his six grand-children that he loved: Christine, Jacques, Michel, Noah, André and Chanelle. He was predeceased by a daughter Rita, who was 15 months old, four sisters: Marie, Elise, Marguerite, Emma and three brothers: Fernand, Jos and Lucien.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Salon ‘La Colombe’ 11325 rte 126, Rogersville on Monday, September 17th, at 2 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Saint-Francois-de-Sales RC Church in Rogersville, Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 at 4 pm. Visitation hours: Monday, September 17th, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 from 1:30 pm until departure for the funeral service. Donations can be made to the Acadieville Cemetery or to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation.
