It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Wall, September 15, 2012, aged 78 years, in the presence of her loving family at the Agnes Pratt Home after a lengthy illness. Today she will be reunited with her dear daughter Lynette; partner Ches Summers, and dear friend Philip Coombs. She is also predeceased by her parents Bert and Gladys Osmond. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of memories her dearest daughter Linda Wall; sister, Joyce Peddle, and best friend Hope England. Also mourning the loss are her sons: Fraser and family, Ken and family, Howard and family, and their father George Wall; her brother Milton Osmond and family; sisters: Joyce Peddle and family, and Gloria Boutcher and family; members of the New FoundSound (Rumoli Club); as well as other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Agnes Pratt Home for the caring of our mother for 4 years. Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, September 17, from 12-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue, on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
