Fancy, George Michael, 82, Truro, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Hampton, New York, he was a son of the late William and Frances (Hall) Fancy. George was a steel plant worker having worked in Ontario.
He is survived by his companion Yvonne Lynn McNutt; sons Charles, George, Steven and Whitman all of Ontario; daughters Margaret and Elizabeth, both of Ontario; step-daughter Stacie (Jamie) of Truro; Grandchildren, Hanna, Ethan, Langille of Truro; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Ontario.
He was predeceased by his wife Ellen Jane Fancy; sons Gerry and Brian.
No visitation or funeral service by family request. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
