The death occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, of J. Henry Gallant, of Summerside, aged 90 years. Veteran of World War II. Born in St. Gilbert, he was the son of the late Belonie and Justine (Arsenault) Gallant. Survived by his wife Theresa (McGaughey) Gallant; children Jean (Neil) Selinger, Guelph, ON; Carol Gallant, Summerside; Henry (Nancy) Gallant, Summerside; Bonita Gallant (Allen Glover), Summerside; Cheryl (Eric) Arsenault, Summerside; Theresa (Paul) Cousins, Kensington; Arlene (Noel) Gallant, Wellington; Christine (Peter) Gallant, Lower New Annan; Gerard (Carolyn) Gallant, Montreal, QC; Sarah (Steven) Watts, Hampton; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Alyre (Mary) Gallant, Summerside; sister Marie Young, Winnipeg, MB; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son James Henry in infancy and by his first wife Beryl (Wallace) Gallant. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the IWK Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated. Members of the Dr. W. E.
