Vaughan Geldart
GELDART, VAUGHAN JAMES - Vaughan James Geldart, 98, of the Jordan Life Care Center and formerly of Lewis Mountain, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012. Born in Lewis Mountain, he was a son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Morton) Geldart. Vaughan was a farmer and also owned and operated the North River Farm Supply. He is survived by his daughters Marion Barrieau (George) of Miramichi and Margaret (Peggy) LeBlanc (Gary) of Moncton; sons Alden (Margaret) of Lewis Mountain, James (Krys) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Joseph of Edmonton, AB and Robert (Pam) of Kitchener, ON; sister Allie Daley of Amherst, NS; twenty one grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Jessie (Duncan); sons John and Alan; daughters Ruth Amyot and Dorothy Walker; brother Austin; sisters Stella, Pearl, Greta and Ellen and grandsons Kevin Geldart and Shawn LeBlanc.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday, September 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will held at the Lewis Mountain United Baptist Church Tuesday, September 25 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Vincent Burgess officiating. Interment to follow at First North Baptist Cemetery. If desired, donations to Lewis Mountain United Baptist Church or Jordan Life Care Center would be appreciated by the family.
