On Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the age of 77 years, after suffering a stroke at his home, Brockville, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Mary McGrath (nee Brown) who predeceased him only several weeks ago on July 29th. Bob is the son of the late Frederick and Susan (Heffernan) McGrath and a native of St. John's Newfoundland and had lived in Montreal for many years where he was a teacher. Survived by his sister Kathleen Callaghan; his brother Len McGrath; sisters-in-law: Margaret and Olive and brothers-in-law: Mike, Jack and Pat Brown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by special friends including Peter Petsanis (the late Bernadette). Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Brockville, on Thursday, September 27th at 10 am. Interment parish cemetery.
