It is with great sadness that the family of the late Douglas Corbett Kohout announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Betty and 2 sons: Doug (Kelly), Ron and 2 daughters: Corina (Ian), Jeannette (Jason), step-daughter, Christine (Rob), 3 brothers: Don (Naomi), Bob (Knighta), Bill (Marilyn), 2 sisters: Joyce, Sandra and sister-in-law, Gyan (Late Mack) Wilder, 5 grandchildren: Christopher, Joshua, Mikaela, Ryan, Matthew and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Edith and Joseph Kohout and brothers: Mack, Wayne and sisters: Eleanor and Elaine. Cremation has taken place and friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday, September 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
