Lester Philip Steele
The death occurred at Kings County Memorial Hospital on September 25, 2012, of Lester P. Steele of Gasperaux.
Lester was the son of the late Lester and Blanche (Murphy) Steele. Survived by brother Louis of Chateauguay, Quebec, and by nephews Robert and Nick Steele. Predeceased by his sister Eileen, brother-in-law John Steele, sister-in-law Leah Steele and nephew Michael Steele.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home where visitation will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Sturgeon, on Friday, September 28, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #8 will hold a remembrance service Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m.
