Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Prince County Hospital of Walter Lorne Wood of Seven Mile Bay, aged 52 years. Survived by wife Adele (Francis); sons: Darren (Michelle) and Brian (Tara); special granddaughters Nadine and Crystal and other grandchildren: James, Lorne, Tristan and Hailey. Survived by brothers Con (Jean), Charlie (Janet), Grant (Kerry) and Joanne (Dave). Pre-deceased by parents Reginald and Rosella; brothers Robert, John and Wilfred and by sister Linda. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home with visiting hours Sunday, Sept. 30, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay, on Monday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m. Donations in Walter’s memory to St. Peter’s Church Cemetery Fund or Prince County Hospital.
