Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, September 28, 2012 of Ruth Grace Acorn (nee MacMillan), Charlottetown, age 83 years.
Dear mother of Barry (Beryl), Brian and Kim (Sandra). Loving grandmother of Jo Ann, Amy, Andrew, Craig, Robert, Vanessa, Geoffrey, Andrew and John and great-grandmother of Chloë, Jacob, Sophia, Lilah and Taia. Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law, Jean and Marjorie; nephew, Donald; and niece, Mary Anne.
Predeceased by her husband, Daniel Acorn; by her parents, Duncan and Annie (MacDonald) MacMillan; and by her brother, Sinclair MacMillan.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
