Gordon Neil White
The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Monday, October 1, 2012, of Gordon Neil White of Charlottetown, in his 71st year.
Gordon is survived by his sister, Sandra C. Bentley (Robert) of New Glasgow; nephew, Michael R. Bentley of Brooklin, Ontario; niece, Breagh Erin Bentley (Brad Haltli) of New Haven; grandnephews, Hudson and Declan Haltli; uncles, Sheldon, Wendall and Cecil Nicholson; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, J. Edward White and his mother, Annie C. (Nicholson) White, formerly of Stanchel and later of Charlottetown; and an older brother, John E. White.
Gordon was a retired pharmacist, who practised at the IWK Hospital, Halifax, K-Mart Drugs, Charlottetown and most recently the Rustico Pharmacy, North Rustico.
No funeral service by personal request. A reception to celebrate Gordon's life will be held at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, on Friday, October 5, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m.
