Peter Tolhurst of Kamloops passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the age of 83 years.

He is survived by his brother-in-law Paul & Connie Demers, sister-in-law Mary Demers and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and nieces and nephews abroad, and his special friends and neighbours.

Peter was predeceased by his wife Pauline, brother-in-law Ray Demers, nephew Mark, father and mother in-law Napoleon and Antoinette, his parents Stanley and Dorothy and his siblings.

Peter was proud of his Fly fishing club and loved fishing. He was an avid gardener and also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Prayers will be recited at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 635 Tranquille Rd., on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 with The Most Reverend Bishop David Monroe, Celebrant.

On behalf of Peter's loved ones, we would like to extend a special thank you to his neighbours and the nurses on 7 North at RIH, your kindness will not be forgotten.

In memory of Peter, donations would be gratefully accepted to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home.
