Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family on October 3rd, 2012, Gordon James Fardy, aged 81 years. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Mabel and twin brother Leo. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife of 57 years (Teresa) Mary Patricia Fardy (nee Manning); children: Sandra Barnes (Albert), Andrea Hiscock (Gary), Damian (Bernie) and Robert (Angela Carter); five grandchildren: Adam and Jane Barnes and Matthew, Erin and Heather Fardy; brother George and his family; brothers-in-law: Brother Joseph, Edward (Sandra), Gerald (Barbara) and Kevin Manning; sisters-in-law: Frances Martin, Regina Horwood (Gerald), Maureen Hagerty (Jim) and Barbara Young (Gary); as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Thursday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Charity of one’s choice.
