Our mother was the definition of what every other would strive to be. She loved her family who always came first in her life. Her life was full when she was surrounded by children and grandchildren. Our Mother was the most caring, loving person we have and ever will encounter. She had that special something that touched everyone she met. She had the most beautiful smile, a smile that would not only light up a room but would light up your soul. Her life was full of laughter, fun, music and dance. You could see how she could brighten someone’s day with her rendition of “are you lonesome tonight”. Our Mother had a special gift with people that left them with a smile. Our hearts are broken and she will be forever missed.
Mother had a wonderful life from raising her children and then her grandchildren. Dancing was her passion from going to dances during WWII at the Caribou Hut and then at the Legion branches 1 and 56, the Knights of Columbus and especially the BIS on St. Patrick’s day. She always had a smile and made everyone around her a little happier, brightening everyone’s day with a song or story.
Passed peacefully away the most loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Friend, Kay Williams (Mom Williams, Nan) surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital October, 4th, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Arthur Williams and beloved son Theodore (Ted) Williams. Leaving to mourn daughters: Janet Williams (Greg), grandchildren Tony (Amanda, great-grandchild Ally) , Krista (Chris), Katie (Garry); Gladys Dalton (Garry), grandchildren Kayla (Geoff), Tyler; grand-daughter (like a daughter) Tonia Williams (Yannick Madelaine) great-grandchildren Donna Davies & Joshua Davies, many, many friends and family and especially favorite niece Joanie.
Special Thanks to her family doctor Michelle Young and her caregivers Denise Kennedy and Wanda Tiller and the caring and compassionate staff of 4 West St. Clare’s.
We have many fond stories and cherished times to always remember. She was whitty, humorous, charming, and loving. Her laughter, stories and songs will live on through her family. You can dance again dear Mother. We love you!
