94, of Halifax, NS, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012, in Saint Vincent's Nursing Home, Halifax, NS. Born May 4, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Monica Sullivan of St. John's, NL. Leaving to mourn: daughters: Walta-Anne (Walli) Rainey of Halifax, NS, Cherye Edgar (Jim Ford) of Ottawa, ON, Sandi Stapleton (Peter) of Windsor, ON, Marie-Anne Boulain (Robbie) of Bristol's Hope, NL; and son, Frank Stapleton of Fredericton, NB; five grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, two great-granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue, St. John's, on Thursday, October 11, 7 - 9 p.m., and Friday, October 12, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A memorial mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church on Saturday, October 13th at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre, Topsail Road.
